Her name, "LIBERTY, " arches over the image, while the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST, " and the date, "2020, " are also inscribed on this face. On the reverse is John Mercanti's adaptation of the Great Seal of the United States. An eagle protects a union shield under a triangular arrangement of thirteen stars, which represent the original states. The bird holds a ribbon with the inscription "E PLURIBUS UNUM" in its beak and arrows and an olive branch in its talons. The arrows remind all that America is always prepared to defend her values, while the olive branch expresses the country's desire for peace. Rim inscriptions include the name of the issuing country, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, " the coin's weight, 1 OZ. FINE SILVER, " and its face value, "ONE DOLLAR. Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) set this coin in a silver core holder and provided its grading information on a label that was hand signed by John Mercanti. That information includes a Mint State 70 grade and Early Releases certification. To receive an MS70 grade, a coin must appear perfect under 5x magnification.
