2012 (2011) (s) Silver Eagle Early Production Struck In 2011 Ngc Ms70 Rare
Struck at the San Francisco Mint. ATTENTION SERIOUS SILVER EAGLE COLLECTORS! One you WONT see everywhere, if at all! I havent seen something this extensive when it came to cataloging a coin.
I mentioned this is a 2012 Silver Eagle. At least on paper and stamped into the coin it is. But this Silver Eagle bullion strike not only was struck in San Francisco (S), but it was struck in the Fall of 2011 with the 2012 date on it.
Someone came across 3, 2012 green monster boxes with dated receipts showing they were struck in 2011, not 2012. This is why on the label from NGC, you will see the date of the coin as being a 2012, but in reality it was produced in 2011, at the (S) San Francisco Mint no less.
Hows that for an incredibly unique collectible, back-date Silver Eagle? Just 2 coins in stock that have both been graded by NGC in their San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge color picture holder. The coins are luscious and flaw-free as they have been Quality by me and NGC tended to agree as they are both perfect MS70s with the Advanced Production notation on label along with Struck in San Francisco. This is an NGC FIRST!
