The American Silver Eagle was first released in 1986 as part of the American Eagle Bullion Program. The design features Adolph A. Weinmans Walking Liberty design, originally used on the half dollar from 1916 to 1947.

In this design Lady Liberty is wrapped in the stars and stripes of the America flag as she. Strides toward a rising sun. The reverse, designed by U. Chief Engraver and coin designer, John M. Mercanti, depicts a beautiful heraldic eagle holding arrows and olive branch in each claw, with 13 stars above the eagle.

A vibrant ring of sunset orange and rose pink blend around the edges of this stunning 2001 American Silver Eagles obverse. Splashes of ocean blue and teal toning cling to the fields on either side of Lady Liberty, while her devices are completely blast white. On the reverse of this stunning coin is a halo of cerulean and royal purple. This stunning toned American Silver Eagle is a great way to add to an existing collection or to build a brand new collection. We greatly appreciate your feedback!
